Simple Party Pack

In my attempt to 'fish' what she wants as her birthday present, I asked Zara this:

Me: Zara, what do you want for your birthday?
Zara: I want....erm, let's see. I want cupcakes, kurma and kismis
Me: No, no. What DO YOU want for your birthday?
Zara: I want cupcakes, kurma, kismis, toys for girls and toys for boys (while counting each with her fingers)
Me: (Obviously she didn't get what I mean. Ignore)

So, when hubby came back from surau, I told him about the above conversation that Zara and I had. Turned out, she was actually referring to the items that she wants in her party pack! Mengikut firasat hubby, that is. Haha!

What a great idea, eh? Simple too. And senang nak source. Although the cupcakes idea may need to be re-think since school doesn't allow junk food. Packaging will be decided later on. After we finalise on the theme that is. This will be KIV-ed for her birthday celebration @ school after Raya nanti. I already have something in mind for this Wednesday. Tinggal nak assembled them all jek.

Alhamdulillah, 1 item settled.

Planning for Zara's 4th Birthday Party

Zara's birthday is coming up very2x soon. Since it's puasa time, so we are going to have a low-key one first, at home with the family. A simple buka puasa do with the families.

But what's a party without balloons, right? So, am penning them all down here. The Must Haves for a Successful Birthday Party*:

1. Cake
Am making 25 Disney princess theme cupcakes. Kebetulan dah ada edible images ready at home. Plan to surprise her so most probably I will only start bake very late at night before the birthday itself.

2. Theme
Will be Disney princess themed. Not that we're going to force everybody to wear gown dress anyway. Maybe just us girls. Or limit all into the theme colors.

3. Games
Will skip this. Buat kat rumah jek pun. Kata a low-key one. Sapa pun nak bergame bagai, right?

4. Decorations
Will get about 10+ balloons to decorate the house. Most probably something in pastel blue, pink and yellow hues. To suit the theme.

5. Favors
I already have something in mind now. Just not sure whether I have the time to scout for them. Will see how next week. If the plan went well, will have to get Zara to wrap them all. She'll be thrilled to have something to give out to her guests nanti.

6. Presents
We haven't really decided on this. As she already has a room full with toys. We've been wanting to get her the Ikea play kitchen but her room can't really accomodate anymore toys. That's how much toys we have now.

7. Thank you Note
Will get Zara to say thank you to all masa bagi party favors kot.

There. Think we are all set for a party now. Tinggal nak execute the plan jek. Hope time will be on our side this time around.

Insyallah.

Ben 10 Party Packs

Ja contacted me for a tray of blueberry cheese tarts, initially. It was for a son's birthday party at school, which was on Thursday 28th. Took the opportunity to explain to her our newest product. When finally, she decided to engage us for party packs.

It was a Ben 10 theme party. The party packs were for 20 kids at kindergarten. Ja's only requirement is to kurangkan on junk foods. Which is so my forte, as my daughter's school pun holding that same requirement. Even birthday cake pun can't be chocolate flavor!

Anyway, back to Ja's event. Since we were short of time, we decided to spend more on food/snack cos they are easier to supply, 1 party toy and 1 gift for the kids. See, what we end up with here:

This is them in single pack.
Lepas dah pack all the items, I noticed the paper bag was too big for the party stuff (which was the original idea). So, the next day tu, I scout for a more suitable party bag. And since this is a Ben 10 theme party, it also natural to have EVERYTHING in black and green.

We also did Ben 10 party tags to go with the party packs. One side says, "It's Ayden's Birthday!". And another was decorated with Ben 10 logo. Clapper pun ada Ben 10 logo.
Here's a look at our production line.
A closer look of the final product.
Hope Ayden and his friends had fun on the day! Thank you to Ja & Wira for trusting us!

Maya's 2nd Birthday Party

We had our very FIRST assignment from my colleague, Muni who was holding a birthday party for her daughter, Maya Arissa.

Maya is a HUGE fan of Barney. So it was only appropriate to do a Barney themed party for her 2nd birthday. So, expect to see A LOT of purple and green in this post alone! Even The Party Staff were ALL dressed in purple.

Muni has entrusted us for the birthday banner, balloon sculpting and sand art activities for the party. Here are some details/pictures from the party.

The birthday banner which was particularly inspired by this Martha Stewart's Pink & Orange Birthday Garland.

Here's another picture of the customised birthday banner in action.

Muni also called for balloon sculpting service which is done by no-other than the talented sister of mine, Aya. This is our beloved daughter holding one of the creation.
And lastly, is THE highlight of the whole event. Dari yang paling kecik sampai la ke paling tua, all enjoyed this one activity. Thanks to Muni who decided to have this free flow sand art booth at the party.

That's my brother in purple shirt, mending the booth for the day. It was such a hit! We were the last one to leave the party as everyone wanted a hand in it.

Thanks to Muni for the FIRST job!
